In Washington State's Olympic Mountain rain forests
A collection of sketches over the years
We had a cabin in the Quinault rain forest for many years as the kids were growing up. It had a stunning view of the lake and the sawtooth shaped mountain peaks across the lake. Over the years I did quite a number of sketches of the old places around the area, and around the peninsula.
We sometimes took the long way around to the lake – a ferry to Kingston and the highway through Port Angeles, Forks, passing the Hoh River and Kalaloch to arrive at Lake Quinault.
